Tottenham boss Ugo Ehiogu has a real gem in the ranks in the form of attacking full-back DeAndre Yedlin. The 21-year-old USA international was an excellent raiding forward during the second half of Spurs' recent goalless draw with Chelsea, according to MailOnline writer Dan Ripley.

Yedlin has shown tremendous promise on the right side.

Yedlin is confident he's at the right club to eventually make the grade at senior level. He cited the successes enjoyed by striker Harry Kane and midfield battler Nabil Bentaleb since progressing from the youth ranks as inspirations, per the London Evening Standard's Tom Farmery.

Yedlin isn't the only Spurs prospect hoping to make the jump. Attacking midfielder Kenny McEvoy gives Tottenham a dynamic and creative outlet in forward areas.

Of course, Liverpool also know the value of giving young talents the time to develop. The Anfield club has seen the benefit as players, such as winger Raheem Sterling and defenders Jon Flanagan and Jordon Ibe, have broken though to the senior ranks during recent seasons.

Liverpool continue to give chances to young players, including the impressive Ibe.

Of the current crop, wide man Harry Wilson is a particularly bright spark. The 18-year-old winger showed off his excellent talent by scoring via a spectacular strike during a recent Merseyside derby against Everton, per The Telegraph's Tom Edwards.

Along with Spanish teenager Sergi Canos, Wilson gives the Reds plenty of width, pace and trickery from the flanks. Canos, still just 18, has spent time training with the first team at Melwood, per Liverpool Echo reporter Neil Jones.

Joe Mewis of the Mirror identified Canos as a player to watch among Liverpool's youth. He noted how the Spaniard is a prolific threat whenever he drifts off the wing: "Preferring to play on the right where he can cut in and trouble defenders, Canos has been scoring for fun this season and has the burning desire to succeed."

There's certainly plenty of attacking talent in Liverpool's fledgling team. Wilson and Canos help the Reds produce the same brand of stylish, combination passing Brendan Rodgers insists the senior players practice.

Yedlin and the rest of the Spurs' back four will certainly be kept busy trying to keep so many precocious attackers quiet. Highly touted centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers will need to deliver a commanding and assured performance at the heart of defence.

Expect goals in a game where both teams boast ample talent in forward areas.
