UK Back Pages: Edinson Cavani to Manchester United, Van Persie to Serie A?

As the footballing universe turns to Sunday's anticipated Manchester derby, both clubs are in the headlines but not necessarily for their anticipated battle on the pitch. 

Manchester's red side is named in a number of transfer rumours, while the sky-blue side is being ripped by City boss Manuel Pellegrini. 

Daily Express links PSG's Edinson Cavani with a move to Manchester United, with the paper claiming that both sides have already opened up negotiations over a move for the Uruguayan:

In Star Sport, Pellegrini claims that City have been "rubbish" this season, as they've fallen to fourth place after being tied atop the league not long ago:
