Experienced Italy midfielder Thiago Motta suffered a hamstring injury for Paris Saint-Germain while playing in their vital Ligue 1 clash against Marseille on April 5. However, the midfielder will return agains Lille on April 25.

Motta Fit to Face Lille

Jonathan Johnson of ESPN FC reported that Motta will play against Lille on Saturday.

On April 5, the former Barcelona player was forced out of his side's 3-2 victory in the south of France after pulling up in the game. The incident was reported by French football writer Robin Bairner:

Motta has featured heavily for PSG during their Ligue 1 campaign, playing 23 times for the Parisian giants, per WhoScored.com.

The powerful Brazilian-born defensive midfielder has been plagued with injury in the past and was often on the sidelines during his eight years at Barca.
