SPORT English reported on Luiz's return, as he replaced the injured Thiago Silva in the first half of the matchup vs. Barcelona.
Earlier, Jonathan Johnson of ESPN FC confirmed that Luiz was available off the bench against Barcelona.
Johnson reported on Tuesday that Luiz was "fit enough to feature" against Barcelona, calling the news an "unexpected boost to say the least."
