Angel Di Maria may not be having the best of times on the pitch since his £60 million move to Manchester United, but he's the most popular name to put on the back of a Premier League shirt this season by some distance.

The Argentine—who may be helped by the fact that he wears the iconic No. 7 shirt at Old Trafford—is well clear of Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa on the top 10 list of names requested by Sports Direct customers.

A host of leading Premier League lights round out the list, although perhaps a surprise entry is David de Gea—the only goalkeeper on the list and a more popular choice than team-mates Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie.
