
Iman Shumpert Injury: Updates on Cavaliers Guard's Ankle and Return
Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Iman Shumpert exited a March 29 game against the Philadelphia 76ers with an ankle injury. He would return to action on April 2 against the Miami Heat.

Shumpert played 27 minutes, scoring 17 points in a Cavs' 114-88 win over the Heat. He ended up not missing a single game with the ankle injury.
Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reported that Shumpert practiced on Wednesday.

Shumpert isn't the most formidable scorer, but his presence on defense has been invaluable during the Cavs' late-season surge.
With the playoffs quickly approaching, it'd be wise for Cleveland to do all it can to have Shumpert as close to 100 percent as possible. It may mean Mike Miller cracks the rotation again until Shumpert is healed, which could ultimately improve the Cavs' postseason depth.
