Liverpool U21s vs. West Ham U21s: Date, Time, Live Stream and Viewing Info
Liverpool will continue their U21 Premier League campaign on Friday, as they host West Ham United with a chance to close the gap on Group A leaders Manchester United to just a single point.
The Reds currently sit in fourth place but hold two matches in hand, trailing the Red Devils by four. The Hammers, meanwhile, are dead last and have won just three of their 15 fixtures.
On paper, Liverpool should comfortably beat West Ham. The Reds' win streak was recently snapped by Southampton, but the visitors have lost four of their last five and should provide the perfect opponents to bounce back.

The Reds dominated West Ham in their previous meeting in December, booking a routine 4-0 win in London thanks to a brace from Sheyi Ojo. The star winger has since completed a loan move to Wigan Athletic, but Liverpool still shouldn't have any problems getting past West Ham on Friday.
The Hammers have lost their last three and have been reshuffling the squad in an attempt to get some of their U18 stars involved. This fan is already looking forward to seeing what the younger stars can do:
As shared by former Reds player Neil Mellor, star striker Jerome Sinclair recently joined Ojo on loan at Wigan, and the lack of experience certainly showed in the loss against Southampton:
For all of their talent, this current Liverpool U21 side is incredibly young. Manager Michael Beale didn't want to use it as an excuse after the defeat, but he did acknowledge was a factor speaking to the club's official website:
"We actually started the game brightly although we were slightly off the level we have been playing at recently against an older and more experienced opponent.
It would be easy to turn around and talk about the players we had missing with the likes of Jordan Rossiter, Ryan Kent, Jack Dunn and Samed Yesil unavailable, but the lads we put out there gave a good account of themselves.
"
To make matters worse, Harry Wilson saw a red card after arguing with the official, further weakening Beale's squad.

Despite the loss, there is plenty of reason for optimism. Dan Trickett-Smith looked solid against Sunderland and is growing fast as a player, and against West Ham's inexperienced back four, he should be able to find some success.
The same goes for captain Cameron Brannagan, who looked uncharacteristically sloppy against the Saints and will be looking for a bounce-back performance against West Ham.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 West Ham United
