Luiz Suffers Hamstring Injury
Sunday, March 15
The Brazilian defender suffered a hamstring injury, according to 1970PSG.com:
"David Luiz has done his hamstring and will have to come off. Zoumana Camara stripped and ready to replace him. #FCGBPSG

The news is a real blow, as Luiz had initially looked to be well enough to continue, per Paris-based journalist Jonathan Johnson:
Luiz, often a maligned figure for his reckless approach to positioning, had been showing some fine form for PSG recently. He was outstanding during the club's 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a result that sent the French outfit through on away goals in the UEFA Champions League last 16.
One of those goals came from the head of Luiz. But the Brazilian is sure to be missed in PSG's bid to reclaim the Ligue 1 title.
PSG are also currently a point behind Lyon in the title race, per the league's official site. Still prominent in two competitions, the capital-city club will hope a key figure like Luiz isn't out for too long.
