Manchester United narrowly defeated Newcastle thanks to a late Tim Krul blunder to take three crucial points from St James' Park. 

But it was a bust-up between Papiss Cisse and Jonny Evans in which the pair had a spit duel after clashing on the pitch that made headlines. 

The row, which could lead to further punishment for both men, took centre stage on a night when there were seven Premier League games.
