UK Back Pages: Pellegrini Doesn't Fear His Job, Rodgers Thought He'd Be Sacked

Sean SwabyMar 3, 2015

The job security of Manuel Pellegrini and Brendan Rodgers takes centre stage, as the Premier League has a bevy of midweek matches.

Tuesday's undercard takes some of the headlines, with Gus Poyet and Steve Bruce having an altercation during Sunderland and Hull City's draw. But most of the chatter is around the Liverpool and Manchester City bosses talking about their jobs.

In Mirror Sport, Rodgers admits he thought he'd be sacked at the early stages of the season as Liverpool struggled in the bottom half of the table.
