Teague Injures Thigh

Saturday, Feb. 28

Teague missed Saturday's contest against the Miami Heat as he deals with an injury to his left thigh.

Vivlamore had the news:

Teague, who was elected to his first All-Star game, is averaging career-highs in points per game (16.7), assists per game (7.3), steals per game (1.7) and true-shooting percentage (.572), per basketball-reference.com.

Fortunately, this injury was minor. Mike Budenholzer, a long-time pupil of Gregg Popovich in San Antonio, already rested his starters once this season, and it seems he's doing so again in preparation of a big game against the Houston Rockets Tuesday.
