Parsons Sprains Ankle

Saturday, Feb. 21

Price confirmed Parsons' injury was ruled an ankle sprain and bone bruise.

Yesterday, MacMahon noted the 26-year-old swingman left the floor in the third quarter with an ankle issue:

Parsons would sit out the remainder of the contest after being diagnosed with a sprained left ankle:

At the time of Parsons' departure, the Mavs were in the lead against their Western Conference Southwest Division rivals. He had racked up 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes.

Parsons seemed motivated to perform well against his former team, but the ankle injury put a damper on his evening.

The Mavericks are locked in a tight battle for playoff positioning, which means they can't afford to be without their third-leading scorer for long.
