
Chandler Parsons Injury: Update on Mavericks Forward's Ankle and Return
Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons enjoyed a strong showing on Feb. 20 against the Houston Rockets, but the fourth-year star was forced to exit early due to an ankle sprain and bone bruise. He would return on March 8 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Price confirmed Parsons' injury was ruled an ankle sprain and bone bruise.

At the time of Parsons' departure, the Mavs were in the lead against their Western Conference Southwest Division rivals. He had racked up 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes.
Parsons seemed motivated to perform well against his former team, but the ankle injury put a damper on his evening.
The Mavericks are locked in a tight battle for playoff positioning, which means they can't afford to be without their third-leading scorer for long.
