Arsenal Transfer News: Santi Cazorla Rumoured to Agree to Atletico Madrid Move
Santi Cazorla's form since the turn of Christmas has defined an improving Arsenal side, so supporters may be worried to learn the Spanish maestro is reportedly interested in moving to Atletico Madrid.
In fact, Spanish radio station Cadena Cope (h/t Chisanga Malata of the Daily Star) recently indicated Cazorla may be close to committing to Diego Simeone's club. As noted by Malata, Cadena Cope "claim the midfielder has agreed a deal in principle" to head to the Vicente Calderon.

Cazorla was previously linked with Atletico in the summer. The 30-year-old has scored six and assisted six in the Premier League this season, per WhoScored.com, posting his most notable performance with a stunning display during the 2-0 win over Manchester City in January.
He has a rich history in Spain, having represented Villarreal, Recreativo Huelva and Malaga before heading to the Emirates.
Although Arsene Wenger possesses a number of similar midfielders—those who are tricky in possession and flaunt excellent vision—he won't want to lose an individual who has recently posted some of his best form since moving to north London.
