Chandler Suffers Hip Injury

Wednesday, Feb. 25

Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com provided the details on Chandler's status:

Chandler dealt with a left ankle sprain earlier this month, but has otherwise been quite healthy amid an outstanding year.

Josh Eberley of Hoops Critic went as far to say that Chandler has never played better:

Chandler's towering presence in the paint alters shots, and his rebounding ability is critical for a Dallas squad that has a predominantly perimeter-oriented frontcourt rotation headlined by Dirk Nowitzki.

Without Chandler's impact on the defensive end, it will be difficult for the Mavs to win in the loaded Western Conference without resorting to shootouts for victories.
