
Tyson Chandler Injury: Updates on Mavericks Star's Ankle and Return
Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler injured his left ankle during Monday night's contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. He did not play vs. the Jazz on Feb. 11, but returned on Feb. 19 after the All-Star break.

Chandler Returns vs. Thunder

Chandler scored 10 points and had 13 rebounds in his return against the Thunder. Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com indicated Chandler was expected to play earlier in the day.
Chandler Suffers Ankle Injury

He suffered the injury in the first quarter and was quickly ruled doubtful to return, per ESPN Dallas' Tim MacMahon:
After the game, MacMahon reported that teammate Dirk Nowitzki didn't expect Chandler to play on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.
Chandler's importance to this team can't be overstated. While he's efficient around the rim, his rebounding and interior defense make him especially valuable.
A serious injury was the fear when the Mavs traded Brandan Wright in December. A solid rebounder and rim protector, Wright served as insurance for the 7'1" Chandler, who has missed 43 games in the last two seasons due to various injuries.
