Miami announced Haslem wouldn't return as a result of his left wrist injury, but revealed X-rays were negative.
At the time, Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post reported there was concern he had a broken bone in his hand.
For Haslem, it's more frustration in what's shaping up to be the worst year of his career. He's averaging 3.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 13.5 minutes on the floor. According to ESPN.com, the 34-year-old is 153rd in the Eastern Conference in Value Added.
Miami is looking for whatever edge it can get to rise back up the standings in the Eastern Conference, so Erik Spoelstra needs Haslem healthy.
