Manchester City Transfer News: Edin Dzeko's Agent Comments on Potential Move
Irfan Radzipegic, the agent of Edin Dzeko, has confirmed his client wishes to join a larger club, suggesting Juventus or Atletico Madrid as ideal destinations if he's to leave Manchester City.
Dzeko's future appears in doubt after another bit-part season in Manuel Pellegrini's lineup. The Bosnian has started just 12 matches across all competitions and has only hit two Premier League goals this campaign, as reported by WhoScored.
Although potential opportunities to move have arrived, Radzipegic suggests Dzeko wishes to remain with the very best. His representative spoke to Fanatik (h/t Football Italia):

"We haven’t received any offer from Fenerbahce. Last year Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray asked for him (Dzeko) on loan, but nothing came of it. Dzeko is 28-years-old and wants to play for the most prestigious teams in Europe. If he were to leave Manchester City he’d prefer a big club like Juventus or Atletico Madrid.
"

Juventus reportedly were keen on the striker in 2012, per the Daily Mail, while Atletico are said to have considered a move for him a year later.
Pellegrini's decision to spend £28 million on powerful striker Wilfried Bony—the costliest Premier League incoming transfer of the January window—is likely to see Dzeko continue warming the bench. He also has Sergio Aguero and Stevan Jovetic to compete against for a spot in the starting lineup.
Occasionally brilliant and often lazy, Dzeko's inconsistency has stopped him from becoming a City great. He is supremely talented—not to mention clinical in a range of situations—but should have developed into an elite forward at the Etihad.

Juve and Atletico represent interesting alternatives. Dzeko could link up with former City team-mate Carlos Tevez in Turin, while Diego Simeone has turned Fernando Torres' output around since he headed back to the Vicente Calderon.
Dzeko is capable of scoring plenty of goals in either division, but he needs regular starts so his interest doesn't rot.
