Fans Banned from Live Sky Sports News Coverage of Transfer Deadline Day
Sky Sports News HQ's coverage of transfer deadline day has become an institution in the UK, but they have been forced to scrap a key part of their coverage.
Traditionally, Sky's reporters have commented on the breaking stories while surrounded by fans outside of the grounds.
However, after a number of unsavoury incidents in recent years, with supporters shouting obscenities or even waving sex toys while broadcasting live, the fans have been cut out of the coverage.

As per The Daily Telegraph: "Sky Sports will not be doing live broadcasts with fans around from outside the grounds on transfer deadline day. Instead, they will either pre-record reports or do them from inside the clubs."
Sky were forced to apologise last September, when their coverage was marred by incidents.
They said in a statement at the time:
"Millions of viewers followed our coverage of transfer deadline day, which included over 270 live reporter updates from outside football clubs over the final 24 hours. We apologise to those whose enjoyment was spoiled by a small number of incidents and we’re looking into ways to avoid this happening again in the future whilst ensuring fans remain a key part our live coverage.
