Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin was available to play on Feb. 22 after dealing with an adductor injury.

Schneiderlin Available vs. Liverpool

Schneiderlin served as a potential substitute for his return against Liverpool, the club revealed.

Ronald Koeman told reporters on Feb. 20 that he believes Schneiderlin "can be part of Sunday's squad," according to Southampton's official Twitter feed.

Schneiderlin Expected to Miss At Least Two Weeks

According to Henry Winter of The Daily Telegraph, the 25-year-old Frenchman is expected to miss anywhere from two to three weeks with an adductor issue:

He has three goals in 16 appearances with the squad, and he is always a dangerous attacking player who the opposition must account for.

Schneiderlin also has confidence in Southampton's ability to vie for the EPL crown, per Arlo White of NBC Sports:
