Roy Hodgson Votes for Javier Mascherano to Win the Ballon d'Or

Barcelona's Javier Mascherano is a fine player, no doubt. We're not disputing that fact one bit. 

But the best player in the world in 2014? We're judging you, Roy Hodgson. 

After Cristiano Ronaldo predictably won FIFA's top individual honour on Monday, the complete voter breakdown was released shortly afterward. 

The England boss' votes turned a few heads when it was revealed that his top choice was the Barcelona defensive midfielder.
