Debuchy Out for Three Months
Thursday, Jan. 15
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Debuchy's latest setback will rule him out until April, per Arsenal's official website:
"Mathieu had a surgery on his right shoulder following the injury on Sunday. It's very unfortunate for Mathieu, it's unbelievable because he's had two surgeries in the same season. He just came back, he played seven games and he's out again. I count three months out for Mathieu because contact will be a problem for the shoulder.

Debuchy Stretchered Off vs. Stoke
Sunday, Jan. 11
Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy was stretchered off early into the Gunners’ clash with Stoke City in the Premier League with a shoulder injury.
News of the knock and his subsequent substitution was noted by the club’s Twitter account, as well as a post-match diagnosis:
Ashley Clements of the Daily Mail also reported Debuchy was taken for an X-ray on his right shoulder.
The Frenchman was looking to see the ball out of play for a goal kick when he was nudged in the back by Potters winger Marko Arnautovic. As noted here by ESPN FC, Debuchy subsequently suffered a very heavy fall:
John Cross of The Mirror thought the Stoke man was very much in the wrong for the incident:
Debuchy has blossomed into a key man for the Gunners, showing his versatility by operating in the centre and on the right of the club’s defence as of late. With a lack of defensive options as it is, it will be intriguing to see if this latest injury set-back prompts Arsene Wenger to bring in reinforcements in the January transfer window.
