Beckham and Son Brookyln in Car Accident
David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were involved in a car accident on Saturday, according to reports.
The Telegraph first had the story:
"Beckham, 39, the former England captain, was picking up his 15-year-old son when his Audi was involved in a collision outside Arsenal’s training ground in Hertfordshire.
A source close to Beckham said: 'They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.'
"
Another source told Corinne Heller of E! Online, "David and Brooklyn were involved in a car accident, they did not suffer any injuries and as I understand it, both passengers in the other vehicle were unharmed. David and Brooklyn were shaken by the accident but thankfully OK."
According to BBC News, however, the female driver in the other vehicle involved was taken to the hospital following the incident.
Brooklyn Beckham plays soccer for Arsenal's under-16 club. His father famously carved out a career for himself as a star on both the club and international stage, most notably playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, the Los Angeles Galaxy and the England national team.
Known for his brilliant, curling set pieces that befuddled keepers for years, Beckham's fame extended far beyond the pitch, as his wife Victoria (Posh Spice of the Spice Girls) and he became one of the most recognizable power couples and universal sex symbols. Now, his son is seemingly following in his footsteps on the pitch.
Thankfully, nobody was injured in the collision.
