Los Angeles Clippers vs. Miami Heat: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
Behind 26 points apiece from Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Miami Heat, 110-93, on a night when Dwyane Wade missed his fourth-straight game with a left hamstring strain.
After starting 5-2, Miami (6-6) has now lost four of its last five games and has dropped four games at home a year after losing a total of nine regular season games on South Beach.
The Clippers (7-4), meanwhile, capped off the second night of a back-to-back in style, scorching Miami to the tune of 56 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent shooting from three. It was Los Angeles' first win in Miami since 2008, according to the Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch.
Paul finished with a game-high 12 assists (and just one turnover) while DeAndre Jordan tallied a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds) on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting. J.J. Redick added 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting (4-of-8 from three).
Chris Bosh led all scorers with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting, but Miami couldn't keep pace with a Clippers offense that outscored the Heat, 39-15, in the first quarter and never looked back.
Shabazz Napier added 17 points off the bench while Luol Deng and Mario Chalmers finished with 13 points apiece.
As a team, Miami shot just 45 percent from the field and 23 percent from three.
The Clippers will have a chance to extend their winning streak when they clash with the Western Conference-leading Memphis Grizzlies Sunday night while Miami is slated to square off against the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
