NFL Week 11 Picks: Final Overview of Consensus Picks
Playoff interest is piquing heading into Week 11 because football fans know their team could be involved in a do-or-die game with severe postseason implications. Well, team owners, general managers, coaches and players know that as well. This can lead to some very tight games down the stretch.
That notion is backed up, more or less, by the lack of double-digit point spreads this week. In fact, those savvy Vegas oddsmakers didn't see a single contest fit for such a margin when the opening lines emerged. Since then, only one has swayed into that territory.
So, what does the everyday bettor think of this week's odds? Is there a certain game that is garnering plenty of attention from the public? If so, why? Before Sunday's slate of games kicks off, let's take a look at the full Week 11 consensus picks and give an in-depth look at the three most popular bets.

Consensus Pick Analysis
Denver Broncos (69 percent) at St. Louis Rams
The public is all over the Broncos here, and it's really difficult to disagree.
We all know how amazing Peyton Manning has been playing once again this season. He's breaking records and continues to lead one of the league's most potent passing attacks. However, it's the defensive side of the ball that will lead to a huge Denver win on Sunday.
The Broncos boast the NFL's top-ranked run defense, allowing an average of just 67.0 yards per game on the ground. That's not a good sign for a Rams team that is gambling with journeyman quarterback Shaun Hill this week, according to SportsCenter:
Rookie Tre Mason hasn't delivered any kind of big plays since assuming the starting role in the Rams backfield, and he doesn't have much of a chance to light it up against Denver's defense this week. That will only add pressure on Hill and is likely to force several miscues due to an unbalanced offense.
Pittsburgh Steelers (68 percent) at Tennessee Titans
Pittsburgh's offense was coming off a two-game tear, as Ben Roethlisberger became the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for six touchdowns in consecutive games. The Steelers were supposed to trounce the hapless New York Jets in Week 10, but that didn't happen. In fact, they lost.
We should expect to see a vicious Steelers team on Monday, and the unfortunate victims will be the Titans and rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger. Defensive end Cam Heyward is already planning his onslaught on the opposing signal-caller, via the Steelers' official Twitter account:
That task shouldn't be difficult for Heyward and Co. to accomplish, as Titans rookie running back Bishop Sankey hasn't lived up to expectations this season. He's averaging 3.9 yards per carry and has yet to amass more than 61 rushing yards in a single contest.
Expect Pittsburgh's defense to come out fast and furious against an inexperienced offense, making it very easy for Roethlisberger and Co. to cover the spread.
Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers (67 percent)
At face value, this contest certainly appears to be a close one. After all, we have a 7-2 Eagles team hitting the road to take on a 6-3 Packers team. However, this clash of NFC juggernauts isn't what it seems.
Sure, the Eagles looked great against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10 with backup quarterback Mark Sanchez at the helm. Well, despite the signal-caller's nice performance, just about every quarterback who has faced the Panthers this season has emerged looking like an All-Pro.
Green Bay's ninth-ranked squad full of ball-hawking players who have accumulated 12 interceptions this year is likely to remind fans of the NFL why Sanchez became a backup in the first place. Expect him to struggle early and often against this secondary, leaving the door wide open for Aaron Rodgers and Co. to jump out to a big lead.
Don't expect any costly errors from Rodgers, either. This tweet from Bleacher Report's Zach Kruse brings up a very impressive statistic:
The Packers managed that exact feat in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears, as Jay Cutler looked befuddled early in the game, and Rodgers tossed six touchdown passes before the fist half. Philadelphia's 22nd-ranked secondary will have its hands full keeping Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb out of the end zone to stay within this marginal point spread.
