Chaos Erupts After Wild Sequence Leads to 99th-Minute Equaliser in Argentina
Stop us if you've heard this one: Arsenal blew a late lead.
Only this Arsenal is A) not of the English variety and B) their late collapse wasn't entirely self-inflicted, unlike their north London namesakes.
The scenario: Lanus scores a scrappy, smash-and-grab goal in the ninth (!) minute of injury time against Arsenal in Argentina's top flight to win 3-2 and take the three points along with it.

Lanus are in the middle of a title challenge. Arsenal are mid-table. Arsenal also led heading into injury time with five minutes added to the match.
So Arsenal players were infuriated enough that the match was allowed to head into a sixth minute of injury time and even more so when three minutes were added on to the already-protested six, which allowed Lanus' winner.
The Arsenal players were unsurprisingly not happy, as complete chaos ensued.
Lanus are now two points behind leaders River Plate in the Premiera Division A, not that that's any consolation for the distraught Arsenal players.
