Borussia Dortmund vs. Borussia Monchengladbach: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info

James DudkoNov 8, 2014

The form book has been reversed for Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga game with Borussia Monchengladbach. The former, usually a major force in the league, are currently bottom of the table, while the latter have been in record-setting form, staying unbeaten in 18 games.

But it's Dortmund's players that need the win more. Manager Jurgen Klopp's team simply boasts too much talent to stay languishing in the division basement.

Before a more in-depth look at the game, here are the relevant schedule and viewing details:

Dortmund propping up the Bundesliga table is an unusual sight, one illustrated by journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft:

The key to a Dortmund revival is the fluent and pacy combination play Klopp's team can produce in attack. Forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ciro Immobile can expose any defence.

But as potent as that trio is, Dortmund are better when star man Marco Reus is available. A supremely gifted attacker, Reus is a major threat from both the flanks or through the middle.

But the talented 25-year-old is currently struggling to overcome illness, per Bundesliga.com. It will be a huge boost for Monchengladbach if Reus is unable to play.

Of course, Monchengladbach have their own potent force up front in the form of attacking midfielder Max Kruse. He's netted five league goals already this campaign, per WhoScored.com.

Kruse is quick and clever. The 23-year-old marksman is confident and decisive when he's presented with a chance.

He'll receive excellent support from veteran Brazilian forward Raffael. The 29-year-old is a cerebral No. 10-style attacker who knows how to time his forward runs and pick passes to expose defensive gaps.

Monchengladbach will hope Raffael and Kruse can take advantage of Dortmund's chronic inconsistency. Klopp's team have been in thrilling form in the UEFA Champions League, but they haven't come close to reaching those heights on domestic soil.

In fact, the difference in form is staggering, as Football Centre detailed:

Prediction: Dortmund 3-2 Monchengladbach

It's reasonable to expect goals from two such forward-thinking teams brimming with talented attackers. Ultimately, Dortmund's explosive trio up front should make the difference and decide a tight and exciting game.
