Kolarov Out for a Month

Manchester City received an injury blow just before their match against rivals Manchester United on Sunday, as defender Aleksandar Kolarov was unable to play.

Kolarov has made six Premier League appearances for the Citizens this season, notching an assist and earning a 7.08 average match rating per WhoScored.com. 

Clichy has arguably been even better this season, with a 7.38 average match rating in six Premier League starts, so while Kolarov's injury could be a blow for City's defensive depth going forward, the club is in good hands with Clichy manning the left-back position.
