Jason Witten, Joseph Randle Have Altercation at Cowboys Practice
Updates from Sunday, Nov. 2
Joseph Randle had one carry for two yards in the Cowboys' loss to the Cardinals, but he doesn't have to worry about being out of a job according to Charean Williams of star-telegram.com:
"Joseph Randle will keep his job, and he will make the trip to London.
On Sunday, the Cowboys painted a happy face to the aftermath of Randle’s jailhouse booking video in which he brought up teammates’ transgressions.
“Over the last 25 years, I’ve seen some of the most intense situations with chemistry that you could draw up and it usually works itself out,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “These guys work it out among themselves as teammates.”

Bryant and Randle had a verbal altercation on the practice field Friday, and a source said Brent also expressed his displeasure at the comments to Randle.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett met with Randle, Bryant and Brent on Friday to clear the air.
“It’s OK,” Bryant said. “I had my talk with him. There are certain things you just don’t do. We fixed it. We’re good. That’s my little buddy.”"

ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins provides an update on Joseph Randle's relationship with the Cowboys:
Original Text:
Dallas Cowboys veteran tight end Jason Witten lashed out at second-year running back Joseph Randle at practice Friday, as the fallout from the latter's shoplifting arrest continues.
Two days after CBSDFW.com released booking videos that showed Randle making inappropriate comments and taking shots at Josh Brent and Dez Bryant, Witten became fed up. Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan noted the remarks.
"Alright, don't say another (expletive) word!" Witten yelled at Randle. "Alright? Don't say nothin' from here on out. Don't talk about it."
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram confirmed the encounter:
After practice, Witten gave his thoughts on the altercation, per Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News:
"I don’t really feel comfortable talking about it. We handle it inside our football team. It’s all good.
There was a small issue and we were just trying to get it to stop so we could move forward with practice. There’s no issues there.
"
Hill added more detail from Randle and head coach Jason Garrett after practice:
ESPN's Calvin Watkins had words from Dez Bryant's after the incident:
Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram provided more insight from Randle:
The Cowboys are off to a promising start, with a 6-2 record at the midway point. This lingering situation has the potential to derail the team's progress, though. Especially as Dallas must take on the high-flying, 6-1 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
As one of the team's leaders, Witten is clearly trying to step in before it gets any worse. It sounds like he made his point loud and clear.
