Andre Holmes, James Jones, Kenbrell Thompkins' Post-Week 8 Fantasy Reaction
The 0-7 Oakland Raiders may struggle to win football games, but due to the strong arm of rookie quarterback Derek Carr, several of the team's wide receivers have fantasy upside. Carr threw for 328 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8, and Andre Holmes, James Jones and Kenbrell Thompkins were all in on the action.
Here's a look at how the trio of pass-catchers fared:
| Andre Holmes | 5 | 7 | 69 | 1 | 0 | 12 |
| James Jones | 6 | 11 | 62 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
| Kenbrell Thompkins | 4 | 8 | 34 | 0 | 7 | 3 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Holmes is quickly becoming a strong fantasy play. He's now scored four times over his past four games and has seen a nice increase in targets. While his touchdown against the Browns came in garbage time, it still shows that Carr is looking for the wide receiver frequently in the red zone.
ESPN's Matthew Berry was pleased with the late score:
While Holmes may need to produce a few more solid performances before he becomes worthy of a weekly starter status, he should already be considered a nice flex option against weaker secondaries.
Jones is the veteran receiver of the Raiders corps, and he garners plenty of attention from his rookie quarterback. On Sunday, Jones' 11 targets topped the team, marking the second time this season he's seen double-digit looks. An inconsistent role on the offense makes Jones a fantasy gamble, but he could be plugged in as a desperation play as a bye-week replacement.
Thompkins came to Oakland after being released earlier this year by the New England Patriots. Sunday marked his first action with the Raiders, and while he contributed, he shouldn't be on fantasy radars just yet, as he's still too low in the team's pecking order.
