Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse's Post-Week 8 Fantasy Reaction
Russell Wilson has been excellent for fantasy owners this season. The rest of the passing game hasn't been so fruitful, however. On Sunday, the latter seemed to finally drag the former down with it.
Mired in a defensive struggle with the Carolina Panthers, Wilson and company could get little going through the air, and Carolina's defense generally held Wilson in check on the ground, too. Wilson surely didn't kill owners, but his numbers on the day were hardly up to his own lofty standards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wilson remains a QB1 most weeks. But this looks like one to toss in the "forget me" bin.
For the second week in a row, Doug Baldwin has looked like the wideout to own in this offense. Last week, he caught seven passes for 123 yards and a score. This week, the numbers were far more tempered at the time of publication but he still led Seattle in receptions (six), receiving yards (61) and targets (eight).

| Jermaine Kearse | 2 | 15 | 0 | 2 | 1 |
That makes Baldwin the only player worth owning in Seattle receiving core. Jermaine Kearse just hasn't consistently posted the types of numbers that make him worth a roster spot. In deeper leagues, perhaps he can be considered, but for now the players you want from Seattle's passing attack are Wilson and Baldwin.
