Denard Robinson, Toby Gerhart, Jordan Todman's Post-Week 8 Fantasy Reaction
The Jacksonville Jaguars' offense struggled against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8, but the team can take heart in knowing they just might have a competent starting running back in Denard "Shoelace" Robinson.
| Robinson | 18 | 108 | 1 | 10 | 0 |
| Gerhart | 4 | 10 | 1 | 3 | 0 |
| Todman | 2 | 10 | 2 | 0 | 0 |
Robinson followed up his stunning Week 7 performance against the Cleveland Browns with 100 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches in the first half. He's clearly assumed the leading-man role ahead of Toby Gerhart and Jordan Todman.
Jaguars.com's John Oehser was impressed with Robinson's running style:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bleacher Report's Ian Kenyon noted this special fact regarding Robinson:
Gerhart picked up just 10 yards on four carries in the first half and still looks like he's running through quicksand. Todman was mostly a non-factor, picking up five all-purpose yards on two touches.

Robinson's greatest asset is his breakaway speed. He picked up 8.2 yards per carry in the first half, including a dazzling 41-yard scamper. Shoelace is a threat to take the ball to the house if he gets into space. Unfortunately, he does play for the hapless Jags, limiting him to a boom-or-bust RB2/WR2 in most match-ups.
Gerhart has struggled all season long, averaging just 2.6 yards per carry on the season. He and Todman—who is mostly a cameo-back—are fantasy non-starters and perhaps best left dangling on the waiver wire at this point.
