
Twitter Reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema's Performances vs. Liverpool
Real Madrid easily defeated Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield during Wednesday's round of Champions League fixtures, riding their red-hot attacking unit to a third consecutive win in Group B.
The duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were on point, both scoring superb goals early before the France international took advantage of some sloppy defending to double his tally in the first half.
Ronaldo found himself on the end of a lofted ball after some beautiful buildup play. With limited space, he somehow managed to strike a half-volley that blasted past Simon Mignolet for the first goal of the match.

Benzema doubled Los Blancos' lead with a fantastic header from a near-impossible angle, anticipating Toni Kroos' cross and lofting the ball over the advancing Mignolet.
