Texans' Andre Johnson Passes Steve Largent for 14th in Career Receiving Yards
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson caught five passes for 77 yards in Monday's 30-23 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, passing Steve Largent for 14th place on the all-time list for receiving yards, per Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official website.
Johnson entered the game with 13,080 career receiving yards, nestled between Largent (13,089) and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith (12,837) on the all-time list.
The 33-year-old longtime Texan surprisingly didn't pass Largent until the fourth quarter, as he caught just one ball for four yards through the first three quarters of Monday's game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Johnson finally got going on Houston's first drive of the final frame, catching a pair of passes for 45 yards to set up a 31-yard field goal from kicker Randy Bullock that pulled the Texans within eight points at 24-16.
It was the first of Johnson's two catches on the drive, a 24-yard gain, that vaulted him past Largent on the all-time list.
Though the Texans haven't featured an especially strong passing game this season, Johnson still figures to move further up the list by the end of this season.
Now at 13,157 career receiving yards, he needs just 42 more to surpass 13th-place Andre Reed (13,198) and is just 225 yards shy of 12th-place Torry Holt (13,382). Sitting a bit further away but perhaps still within reach this year are 11th-place Henry Ellard (13,777) and 10th-place Cris Carter (13,899).
At his current pace of 70.9 receiving yards per game, Johnson is on track to finish the season with 13,795 for his career, which would put him a bit ahead of Ellard for 11th on the all-time list.
