Zac Stacy, Tre Mason, Benny Cunningham's Post-Week 7 Fantasy Reaction
Last season, Zac Stacy was arguably fantasy football's waiver-wire MVP, as he closed the season on a tear after becoming the starter for the St. Louis Rams. This season, he may have a difficult time getting any touches at all.
Although he came into Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks recovering from an ankle injury, he suited up and presumably was set to play. But it was Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham who stole the show, as each scored first-half touchdowns and dominated the touches.
| Tre Mason | 18 | 85 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 14 |
| Benny Cunningham | 2 | 3 | 5 | 46 | 1 | 10 |
| Zac Stacy | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The situation in the St. Louis backfield is thus a pretty tricky one to forecast.
Mason was a third-round pick this season, so he was always going to be given opportunities to prove he could be the guy, while Cunningham has played well when given his opportunities. And Stacy still provides some muscle and toughness between the tackles and near the goal line, so it's hard to see him being completely phased out of this offense.
In other words, what we have brewing here is a three-headed committee, an absolute nightmare for fantasy owners to navigate. Until there is more clarity in this backfield and a clear starter emerges, you might do well to stay away from all three players when setting your lineup.
Hit me up on Twitter—I'll answer your fantasy questions and make some corny jokes, too. It's more fun than trying to keep a straight face while offering Percy Harvin for Julius Thomas in a trade.
