After serving a pair of consecutive suspensions to start the 2014 season, pass-rusher Dion Jordan is officially set to return to the Miami Dolphins following their Week 7 game.

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the former Oregon Duck will be back in the fold starting Monday:

Jordan was initially suspended in July for the season's first four games due to a violation of the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs. Although that suspension was lifted after two games due to the implementation of a new policy, he was suspended an additional four contests due to a second violation.

After the second suspension was announced, Jordan vowed to change his ways, per NFL.com's Dan Hanzus:

"

I am currently undergoing treatment to address my situation. I am working hard to become a better man and to make better choices in the future. I am especially looking forward to returning to the team. I also want to thank my family, coach (Joe) Philbin and the Miami Dolphins organization for their support.

"

Hopes were high for Jordan as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, but he recorded just two sacks as a rookie last season. Despite being undersized at under 250 pounds, he was used primarily as a defensive end.

The official Miami Dolphins website now lists him at 275 pounds, but Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun Sentinel believes he is a better fit at linebacker:

Regardless of where Miami decides to utilize him, it can't hurt to have an explosive player of his caliber back in the fold. At 2-3, the Dolphins are currently third in the AFC East; however, the division is far from a runaway. If Miami can pull off a win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday and get Jordan back on Monday, then momentum working will be working in its favor.
