NFL Week 7 Picks: Latest Predictions for Updated Spreads
We're getting to the point in the season when teams are a bit easier to tell apart, and that inevitably results in some spreads becoming more skewed. That can open up the floodgates for expert bettors who can correctly navigate the waters.
A whopping six games on the slate feature teams favored by at least a touchdown, but it takes worlds of confidence to bet on such a team. A handful of spreads aren't large enough, but betting on the wrong team to cover will leave you with some losses.
Here is a look at picks for every game, with the best bets highlighted and broken down below.

Dallas Cowboys (-7) Will Cover vs. New York Giants
As those familiar with recent NFL seasons await the Dallas Cowboys' inevitable collapse, the team continues to show why such a collapse might not be in the cards this season.
Led by DeMarco Murray, the Cowboys lead the NFL in rushing with a whopping 160 yards on the ground per contest. They kept it going against the odds on the road at Seattle, more than doubling the Seahawks on the ground (162-80).
The Giants lost 27-0 to the Eagles on Sunday night, and the Cowboys now join Philly atop the NFC East, per NFL on ESPN:
The Giants haven't been able to stop anyone through the air defensively, giving up 261 yards per game despite strong cornerback play. Tony Romo just had his way against the NFL's scariest secondary, and he'll be itching to keep it up against the G-Men.
What's more, the Giants gave up 203 yards on the ground to Philadelphia last weekend—so add Murray to the Cowboys licking their chops entering Week 7.
Eli Manning's offense got back to its early-season ineffectiveness in Week 6 against Philadelphia, and the Cowboys' resurgent defense should keep that trend going as the offense paves the way to a big win.
Prediction: Cowboys 34, Giants 17
Indianapolis Colts (-3) Will Cover vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Entering the season, this Week 7 affair between the Bengals and the Colts looked like it would help decide which of the two AFC teams has the best shot at contending for a Super Bowl. But in recent weeks, Indianapolis has already made that case.
An 0-2 start to the season turned heads in Indianapolis, but those losses came against the Broncos and the Eagles. Since then, the Colts have torn through their last four opponents, and Andrew Luck leads the league in passing.
Head coach Chuck Pagano is pleased with the way his team has turned things around.
"When you look back at the first two weeks of the season and then you look at where we're at now, I'm just really proud of the guys and the (coaching) staff and what they've been able to accomplish," Pagano told Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star. "We've got a long way to go. We're only six weeks in and you guys know it's a marathon."

The Bengals had no trouble moving the ball against Carolina on Sunday, but the loss of A.J. Green is apparent. Despite the possibility that he'll play Sunday, according to Cincinnati.com's Richard Skinner, it's not looking like he'll be at full health.
Add that and Luck's sure success to a 29th-ranked Bengals run defense going up against an underrated Colts rushing attack, and you have yourself a game that could get out of hand. Indy will win by more than a field goal to cover.
Prediction: Colts 31, Bengals 20
