Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
DeMarco Murray remains the top fantasy running back in the league, keeping up an incredible streak despite facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. The team's Twitter account noted how well he has performed to start the year:
Joel Corry of National Football Post notes how good this year could be for the talented running back:
Additionally, the Cowboys also showed they have other options out of the backfield in the form of Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar.
Dunbar made his impact through the air as a safety net for Tony Romo while Randle got a few big runs on the ground. ESPN's Ed Werder broke down the team's strategy:
While Murray was relatively inefficient at the start compared to other games, the team stuck with him until he broke through with some big runs late and a score. Those concerned about the talented player losing touches going forward do not have anything to worry about.
The running back is not a sell-high candidate; he is someone to keep on your team and watch him carry you to the playoffs.
On the other hand, it seems the Cowboys have a nice pair of backups in case Murray does get hurt. Randle has nice quickness with the potential to break long runs when he gets a chance. He had two touchdowns last year and is still getting better. Dunbar is more versatile with his receiving ability, though he has been effective as a runner when given the chance.
If something were to happen to Murray, Randle would likely get the first crack at being an every-down back thanks to his size at 6'0" and 210 pounds compared to the 5'8", 195-pound Dunbar. Still, it would likely be a committee in that circumstance.
This makes it difficult to add either to the roster, but if you have room and are looking for upside, Randle might be the way to go. Still, there is no reason to start either while Murray remains active.
