Vincent Jackson, Mike Evans' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 6
The worst version of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed up to play Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers playing wide receivers Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans.
| Jackson | 4 | 13 | 66 | 16.5 | 0 |
| Evans | 4 | 8 | 55 | 13.8 | 1 |
Jackson is normally one of the more reliable scoring threats in the league, but he's at the mercy of quarterback Mike Glennon this season (and Josh McCown before him). He reeled in just three catches for 59 yards on nine targets midway through the third quarter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Evans—who was out Week 5 with a groin injury—quickly reestablished himself as a downfield presence with a crucial 25-yard reception on a 3rd-and-10. Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times noted he was the only source of offense in the game for a long stretch:
However, there was little else for him to take advantage of in the first half, as Glennon's scattershot aim and suspect decision making—along with a turgid rushing attack—made sustained drives hard to come by. Evans did manage to score a touchdown in the third quarter on a 17-yard toss from Glennon, who improved his play well after the game was a foregone conclusion.

Both Jackson and Evans are undeniably talented wide receivers and matchup nightmares for the majority of the cornerbacks in the league. Unfortunately, they play for Tampa Bay, so their respective fantasy performances will ebb and flow with the play of Glennon and the offense as a whole. Jackson is the team's best offensive weapon and deserves a start as at least a WR2, if not WR1, week in and week out.
He's a name-brand receiver and could be worth selling for someone with a more consistent signal-caller, but it's tough to find talent like him available in fantasy leagues. The number of targets he accrues on a weekly basis makes him worth a play.
Evans is an up-and-down WR2, but might be better off on the bench against extremely tough defensive matchups, such as the Bengals on Nov. 30 and the Lions the week after that.
