The Cleveland Browns' struggling defense took another hit Wednesday as it was revealed that defensive lineman Phil Taylor is expected to miss some time.

According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com, the 26-year-old Baylor product will miss at least a few weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery:

Taylor updated his status via his Instagram account following the surgery:

Cleveland already ranks 31st in the NFL in total defense with nearly 422 yards allowed per game. That includes nearly 153 rushing yards per contest, which is a number that could go up without the 335-pound frame of Taylor clogging lanes.
