A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
The Cincinnati Bengals had a complete meltdown on Sunday night against the New England Patriots, but at least wide receivers A.J. Green and Mohamed Sanu made amends to their fantasy owners by producing big games.
Here's a look at the final numbers from the duo of wide receivers:
| A.J. Green | 5 | 7 | 81 | 1 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green was blanketed by cornerback Darrelle Revis for most of the game, and the defender appeared to get the best of the receiver early in the game.
However, Revis briefly exited the game with an injury, and the Bengals offense took full advantage. Quarterback Andy Dalton targeted Green immediately in the end zone. The result was six points for the Bengals—and Green's fantasy owners.
NFL on ESPN tweeted this directly after the score:
Regardless of Green's weekly matchup, he's a must-start wide receiver in any fantasy format. One of the league's most prolific athletes at the position, he remains a top-tier WR1.
Sanu is known as much for participating in trick plays as he is for his receiving ability, but he put forth another solid effort on Sunday in New England. In the third quarter, he connected with Dalton on a 37-yard deep ball, earning Cincinnati its first touchdown of the game.
Bleacher Report's Andrea Hangst shared a brief thought on Sanu so far in 2014:
Sanu is currently Cincinnati's No. 2 receiver and Dalton's second-most trusted target. Fantasy owners should consider him a WR2 as well—especially with a favorable matchup. However, going forward, keep a keen eye on the returning Marvin Jones.
Jones was expected to be back in action against the Patriots, but ESPN.com's Coley Harvey reported that a foot injury held him out. He was a big emerging target for Cincinnati in 2013 and could cut into Sanu's targets when he returns to the field.
If that's the case, Sanu's fantasy value would drop to a flex option.
