Sergio Ramos will start the Clasico on Saturday, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed in Friday's press conference.

Ahead of Real Madrid's showdown with Barcelona, Ancelotti stated the following:

Marca earlier reported that Ramos is back in full training:

Carlo Ancelotti earlier revealed Ramos would be assessed over the next few days, per Madrid's official website:

AS passed along an update on Sergio Ramos' status for Spain's Euro 2016 qualifiers:

Earlier, Ramos confirmed he hoped to be fit to help Spain in their Euro 2016 qualifiers against Macedonia and Luxembourg, despite the recent calf problem picked up against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

Ramos tweeted a vague update and also spoke to reporters after Real Madrid's 5-0 humbling of Bilbao, reported by Reuters via Eurosport:

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos was forced off the pitch with a calf injury at half-time as Los Blancos thrashed Athletic Bilbao 5-0 at the Bernabeu on Sunday.   

According to Marca, the injury was sustained in a challenge with Guillermo but the 28-year-old Spaniard seemed to suggest it was not a major problem:

Spain play Slovakia in a Euro 2016 qualifier Thursday, so Ramos' status will be worth monitoring.
