Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, Kelvin Benjamin's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
After a couple of down weeks, the Carolina Panthers passing game got back on track Sunday against the Chicago Bears. | Cam Newton | 19/35 | 255 | 2 | 1 |

Once the Panthers fell behind by a pair of touchdowns, Newton began to show better form, as the offense was run with a sense of urgency late in the game. The quarterback completed passes to eight different targets, including a go-ahead touchdown with just over two minutes remaining.
Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk tweeted his take on Newton's performance in a sped-up offense:
While Newton still has yet to produce on the ground this season—he rushed just four times for 11 yards on Sunday—his ability as a passer solidifies him as a viable starting option for fantasy owners going forward.
Olsen had a huge day in Carolina, racking up two touchdown passes, including the game-winner. His nine targets were good enough for second on the team, and he proved to have tremendous rapport with Newton once again in Week 5.
Scott Pianowski of Yahoo Sports reacted to the tight end's strong fantasy showing:
Olsen is established as an indispensable part of the Panthers offense, and fantasy owners should treat him the same. Consider him a high-end TE1 and flex option in deeper leagues on a weekly basis.
Unfortunately, Benjamin didn't come away with a big day for fantasy owners. After racking up 329 yards and three scores in the month of September, the month of October began in ominous fashion, as drops plagued his performance on Sunday.
Andy Behrens of Yahoo Sports summed up the rookie's day:
A down day for a rookie wide receiver may be difficult to swallow for fantasy owners, but it certainly isn't uncommon. Benjamin's team-high 11 targets should be enough reason to keep him in your starting lineup as a high-end WR2 moving forward.
