Danny Welbeck played the hero role for Arsenal on Wednesday night, as the former Manchester United man led the Gunners to a convincing 4-1 win over Galatasaray with a hat-trick.
Liverpool, on the other hand, were done in by Swiss side Basel 1-0 after a middling performance from the Reds.
