UK Back Pages: Francesco Totti Puts Man City's Knockout-Stage Hopes in Doubt
Manchester City were dealt another blow in European competition, as the English champions' hopes of advancing to the knockout stages took a hit while being held at home 1-1 by Roma.
In an excruciatingly difficult group that also features Bayern Munich and CSKA Moscow, City were expected to take all three points at the Etihad if they wanted to put themselves in prime position to qualify.
Instead, the equaliser by 38-year-old Francesco Totti cancelled out Sergio Aguero's opener, and City were left with one point through two matches.
