Back Pages: Pressure Mounts on Alan Pardew, Diego Costa Fitness Concerns

Under-fire Newcastle boss Alan Pardew's seat is getting much warmer after Newcastle were defeated 1-0 on Monday night at Stoke.

With Newcastle stuck in 19th place in the table with just three points from six matches, pressure is continuing to mount on both Pardew and owner Mike Ashley.

Elsewhere in the back pages, there are concerns with Diego Costa's fitness, Joe Hart's unsettled at Manchester City and Olivier Giroud is on the brink of a new Arsenal deal.

The Mirror utilised the headline "Stoke To The Heart" to illustrate Pardew's situation at Newcastle. Jose Mourinho also admitted he's concerned with the health of Costa, Chelsea's goal-scoring machine.
