Parma vs. AC Milan: How the Rossoneri Will Line Up in the Serie a Game
Milan look to extend their winning streak in Serie A to two games this upcoming weekend as they take on a tricky Parma side led by the always organized Roberto Donadoni. The Ennio Tardini will provide the venue for this one, a place where Parma has been able to tap into their passionate home crowd to make it difficult for their opponents.
The Rossoneri pummeled Lazio 3-1 to open their domestic campaign, with the rust seemingly having been shed from their disastrous summer friendly tour in North America. With Milan now playing much better than anticipated, expect the optimism to continue, as they're the favorites over Parma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will field their new signing Fernando Torres from the opening whistle, a move that has drawn plenty of curiosity from around the football world. The striker known as El Nino will try to rekindle some of his old skill that has been in hibernation for the last few seasons.

It's a great move by Filippo Inzaghi to put in the new striker right away and feed the curiosity of the fans. The Spanish striker will be flanked by Jeremy Menez and Keisuke Honda in Inzaghi's 4-3-3 formation.
El Shaarawy would have provided the searing pace on the counter-attack, but he won't start due to an ankle inflammation. Honda will look to cut the ball to his left foot and provide a few quality balls for Torres to work with.
The other two new signings, Marco Van Ginkel and Giacomo Bonaventura, are expected to start the match sitting on the bench.
The starting midfield trio should be comprised of the same unit that was deployed in the first match, with Nigel De Jong holding the central position, Andrea Poli on the right and Sulley Muntari occupying space on the other side.

De Jong should have the more defensive role, as he plays right in front of the defense and plays simple passes to organize the possession game. Poli and Muntari have the license to roam forward and make runs into the box to create further chaos for the opposing defense.
Finally, the back line should see the return of Mattia De Sciglio as a full-back. Inzaghi seems to like using Daniele Bonera as a full-back in games in which the defense could be tested, but he has more confidence against Parma and will only use two center backs.
Expect Alex to start alongside Bonera in the middle of the defense. The new Brazilian signing from Paris St. Germain was excellent in his first start against Lazio and will continue being an unquestioned starter. The pacy Ignazio Abate will start as a right-back.

The goalkeeper will continue to be Diego Lopez, who is coming off a fine debut in Serie A in which he saved a penalty and made another crucial save against Lazio.
Thanks to a few last-second summer transfers, coach Inzaghi has plenty of options from the bench depending on the game situation. Expect Giacomo Bonaventura to make his debut in the second half, either as a versatile winger or a side midfielder.
Milan's lineup should pose plenty of problems for Parma, and it'll be interesting to see how Torres adapts to his new role at Milan in an entirely different league in which he'll have more space to operate.
