T.J Yeldon suffered an ankle injury in Alabama's victory over LSU on Saturday, but returned in time for the Crimson Tide's matchup with Mississippi State.

After spraining his ankle late last week at LSU, the Alabama leading rusher's availability for the 2:30 p.m. Mississippi State is still being decided.

"I think T.J. was able to practice enough to be able to play. I think we'll have to decide in the pregame whether he'll actually ... how much he'll be able to play and how effective he'll be," Alabama coach Nick Saban said on ESPN's College GameDay on Saturday morning.

For the time being, Alabama has lost the most productive piece of its three-headed running back monster. Explosive junior T.J. Yeldon was forced from Saturday's contest against LSU after suffering an apparent ankle injury on a fumble late in the fourth quarter.

While many teams across the country would be crippled by losing a player of this quality, Alabama's depth at the position is unbelievable. Sophomore Derrick Henry would be starting for most programs, and he is undoubtedly capable of stepping into a bigger role for as long as Yeldon remains out.
