Atletico, who have so often looked favourites to capture the prize, lost to Levante before drawing with Malaga in their last two matches.

Barca and Atletico are three points apart. The Blaugrana can go level with a win, securing the title on La Liga's head-to-head ruling. Atletico need just a point to be crowned champions of Spain.
