Huddersfield's Adam Clayton Dyes His Epic Beard for a Good Cause
Adam Clayton of Huddersfield already had a magnificent beard.
On Saturday against Leicester City, Clayton's magnificent beard was even more eccentric and team-spirited than usual. And all for a good cause.
Clayton's bushy facial hair raised eyebrows on Saturday as it matched Huddersfield's colours and appeared to blend straight into his striped shirt.
But in the end, the bold fashion statement was all for a good cause. The beard was part of Town Foundation in an effort to aid the organisation which provides schoolchildren with breakfast. If enough money was raised, Clayton pledged to dye his beard.
When the proceeds approached the £1,000 mark, Clayton went to transform his beard.

Unfortunately, for female-related reasons, his beard will soon vanish in the aftermath of the fundraiser.
Per The Examiner:
"Amanda (his girlfriend) doesn't like it and hasn't been near me for three months so I think it's time for the beard to go. I need some attention from her!"
