Real Madrid took an early lead on rivals Atletico in the Madrid Derby on Sunday via Karim Benzema's third-minute tap-in.
Angel di Maria registered the assist, crossing from the right for Benzema, who beat the offside trap at the back post.
Atletico's players appealed for offside, but replays showed Benzema was level with the last defender.

The hosts then went ahead in the 45th minute via Gabi's golazo from 40 yards.
In the end, however, Real Madrid would not be denied at least a draw. An 83rd-minute equaliser from Cristiano Ronaldo (who else?) leveled the score at 2 apiece, which is how the match would finish.
